How Hannah Found Rolfing®
Hannah was born and raised in Germany, where she enthusiastically followed her passion for the arts, painting, and acting. At 23, despite being healthy and strong, she began experiencing painful, shooting back pain that changed everything.
Rolfing® entered Hannah’s life through a moment she still remembers vividly. She noticed someone close to her looking brighter, more open, almost glowing after receiving a Rolfing Ten-Series®. Hannah’s curiosity kicked in, and she decided to try it for herself.
After her first session, she was hooked. Not only because she wanted the pain to stop, but because something deeper was happening. By the tenth session, Hannah felt free in a new way. The pain had improved, and she also gained a new understanding of her body, how compensation patterns form, and how the source of pain is not always where you feel it. Rolfing® opened doors for Hannah both physically and mentally, and it stayed with her as something she knew she would return to.
Hannah’s Approach
Hannah often describes Rolfing® as changing your body’s internal “ecosystem.” When your structure has more space and better organization, you have more availability for movement, less strain, better posture, and often less pain. Over time, improved body awareness can translate into new habits, a new relationship with your body, and a stronger ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
Hannah sees this as a form of preventative medicine, not only symptom chasing. Yes, people come in with chronic pain, back and neck pain, tension patterns, or restricted movement. But the deeper goal is to help you feel supported from the inside out, so life does not throw you off as fast or as hard.
The Years That Shaped Her Work
Hannah eventually packed up her life in Germany and moved to the United States to pursue acting. But even as she followed that dream, she carried a quiet certainty that she would become a Rolfer™ someday.
It took time to get there. Immigration, relationships, and real-life responsibilities shaped the path. Looking back, Hannah believes the “in-between years” prepared her to do this work with maturity, humility, and depth. Today, she brings the classic Rolf approach while treating each person as an individual. She leaves room for what shows up in your system and supports you in building options, not forcing outcomes.

Entertainment professionals such as models and actors who rely on alignment, presence, and ease in their bodies
Moms and postpartum clients who want more support for carrying, lifting, standing, and everyday life
People with chronic tension and persistent pain who feel like other approaches have not connected the dots
What a Session Is Like
Rolfing® is a form of manual therapy, a specific hands-on treatment to the connective tissue (fascia) that surrounds, supports, and penetrates muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. It is a holistic approach to help remap holding patterns that can contribute to pain and restricted movement.
Sessions are typically 60 to 75 minutes, including assessment of alignment and movement patterns. Most of the session takes place on the table while Hannah works with pressure that can range from light to deeper and more intense. She may also ask for small movements at times to help build new body awareness.
Why People Choose the Rolfing Ten-Series®
While single sessions can be helpful, Hannah often recommends the Rolfing Ten-Series® because it creates a stronger foundation for longer-lasting change. Many clients book sessions weekly or every other week, which supports integration and helps shift what used to feel “normal” into a new relationship with the body and self.
Whether you choose the Ten-Series, a one-time session, or a mini-series of three, improved alignment and new body awareness can reduce chronic tension patterns and support better movement and posture over time.
